I wanted to take drum & bass-style sounds and immerse them in a natural environment. I was inspired by a number of field recordings I found while looking around the net, and was particularly taken by some sounds from Quiet American. The result is a short EP with two tracks, each embedded into different environments, using field recordings to create the overall soundscape as well as the beats. I hope to have created tracks that sound as if nature itself is producing the music.
